This is the parque del muelle, this is the statue of a seal, this seal is a leyend in the city. This seal was appeared in the harbour in 1950 and he stay in the city for along time, but one day this seal dissapeared...
















This is Don Pedro Menendez "el adelantado de la Florida". Don Pedro was a explorer and he discovered Florida in America he founded many towns in Florida. Don Pedro is one of the most famous people in the city. This statue stays in the Parque del muelle.

Avilés

This is a first view to introduce you to our town, Avilés. It belongs to Ferrera´s park.

The project

This blog was created to host an e-twinning project by students of two secondary schools schools in Budapest, Hungary and in Avilés, Spain. The aim of this project is to set up links between the schools, the teachers and the students, to know different cultures and countries and how young people live and feel.
